About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Production Manager, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our naval vessel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate production activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet project requirements
  • Monitor and control production costs to ensure budget compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in production management, preferably in a shipbuilding or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong understanding of production planning and control principles, including scheduling and inventory management
