About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Crookhey Hall School, part of Acorn Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the emotional and academic needs of our students with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in the classroom, preparing learning materials and running activities to promote engagement and understanding.
  • Take responsibility for the emotional and physical needs of students, providing a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
  • Assist with supervising students during outdoor activities and excursions, promoting a sense of adventure and exploration.

As a Learning Support Assistant with Outcomes First Group, you will benefit from:

  • A competitive salary of £19,233.75 per annum (not pro-rata, pre-tax take-home salary).
  • A 37.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm.
