Job Description

TSR is recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding enterprise for a Finance Manager (Tax, VAT & CIS Experience) reporting to the Group Financial Controller as part of a highly skilled and professional Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Group's tax control environment and develop and maintain tax accounting procedures and controls.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure the Group's tax compliance in all areas.
  • Lead projects with external tax advisors on areas such as:
    • VAT / CIS / Payroll taxes health checks
    • Land remediation relief claims
    • Corporation tax for accounts and returns
  • Maintain up-to-date SAO certification and tax strategy.
  • Ensure best practice tax reporting and disclosures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tax queries across the Group.
  • Develop and deliver tax training to the business.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects and analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to convey tax information effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Self-motivation to drive the tax agenda for the Group and manage own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Project management skills to lead tax projects, including coordination with other departments outside Finance.
  • Attention to detail and quality to drive a high-quality culture at all times.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CTA)
  • ~3-5 years of tax experience
