About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Specialist to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our Data Flows team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our patient data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with colleagues across operations, clinical, financial, and digital services to contribute to the delivery of the team's objectives.
  • Produce and present insightful information, completing reports in an accurate and concise format.
  • Monitor performance against local and national targets.
  • Work closely with the Data Flows Team and the Trust to support the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of key trust patient activity.
  • Investigate discrepancies and provide support and guidance to administration staff to ensure a high quality of Trust data.
Requirements
  • Good planning, analytical, administrative, and numerate abilities.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good written and verbal communication, articulate.
  • Good level of education to Level 4 diploma or equivalent work experience in application training and support.
  • Knowledge of customer/patient flows.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Data Protection issues.
  • Has adapted, created, and implemented policy and procedures within their team.
  • Experience delivering work to timescales and deadlines.
  • Expertise and experience in dealing with identifiable data and commercially sensitive data.
  • Has provided training support and resources to wider team and product implementation.
