Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sherwood Park Campus in Wallington. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities and severe learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists, to deliver comprehensive care and support to our clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas of need and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to clients and their families to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex needs, preferably in a paediatric setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our clients.
