About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Reporting Specialist at MSA Data Analytics Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to contribute to the growth and development of our regulatory finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Reporting: Assist in the production of regulatory reporting packs, management reporting packs, and ensure timely delivery of all regulatory obligations.
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor the financial regulatory reporting requirement landscape to ensure that the suite of reporting is current and supports business development.
  • Business Partnership: Provide support to the business in identifying the impact of new regulation on current and proposed activity.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide periodic reporting to relevant stakeholders on the performance of the regulatory reporting policy standard.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trusted relationships across the organization while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Process Management: Maintain procedures, interpretation documents, and policies that support financial/regulatory reporting policy standard.
  • Collaboration: Work with second and third-line teams to ensure that the reporting framework is robust.
Requirements
  • Education: Educated to degree level with at least a 2.1 attainment grade or AAT-qualified.
  • Experience: Previous financial services experience, especially within a regulatory reporting team, is preferred.
  • Skills: Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure delivery meets critical deadlines, confident and able to analyze and present complex information, data-driven, and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to present to group meetings.
