Job Title: Hospital Ward Manager - Acute Mental Health

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospital Ward Manager to lead our Acute Mental Health Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care to patients with acute mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to promote patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing healthcare teams in an acute mental health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
  • Valid NMC pin and relevant qualifications in mental health nursing.
