About the Business

Transaction Recruitment is proud to present an exciting opportunity to become the Head of Finance for a global company based in Halesowen. Main Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the financial and administrative functions of the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring seamless operations and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage the UK and EMEA accounting teams, including credit control, sales, and purchase ledger functions, to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  3. Handle cash and treasury management for multiple bank accounts in different currencies, minimizing risks and maximizing returns.
  4. Manage the finance operations in our ERP system, including posting to the accounts, to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
  5. Prepare monthly financial reports for the Senior Management Team, covering trading activities, assets, and liabilities, to inform strategic decisions.
  6. Ensure company and tax reporting requirements are met, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Manage insurance policies and negotiate annual premium renewals, securing the best possible terms for the company.
  8. Oversee annual accounting, audits, and reporting requirements, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
Location / Office / Culture

The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office based in Halesowen, offering a great work-life balance and flexibility. The company operates from a modern office with a strong team, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.

Basic Microsoft Office skills and the ability to handle data are essential for this role.Some commercial awareness and a basic understanding of how businesses operate are necessary to succeed in this position.A driving license is required for occasional business travel.Why Choose This Business
