Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

About the Role:

The FamGuard Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual health and safety plan to prevent workplace accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Plan and manage health and safety training programs for employees.
  • Coordinate the distribution and maintenance of personal protective equipment.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire drills and access control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and emissions control.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary authorizations and licenses.
  • Implement and maintain ISO standards and procedures.
  • Manage company waste waters and residues, including operation of the water treatment plant.
  • Monitor incidents and manage non-conformities.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
  • Manage customer returns and provide responses and action plans to resolve issues.
  • Analyze and process data to identify improvement opportunities and coordinate training programs.
  • Plan and coordinate internal and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Technical Industrial Engineering qualification.
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in conducting audits.
  • Membership of NEBOSH.
  • Specific training in Quality Systems (ISO 9001:2015, BRC) and Health and Safety Environment regulations.
