Wincanton Night Warehouse Operative – Multi-User Environment

Wincanton is seeking dedicated Warehouse Operatives to join our night shift team, contributing to the daily operations of our warehouse.

  • Competitive hourly wage with additional shift allowance
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Shift hours: 22:00 to 06:00
  • Full-time position with paid breaks
  • Generous annual leave including public holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform warehouse tasks including accurate stock picking using handheld scanning devices
  • Load items onto pallets for dispatch
  • Verify picked stock and assembled loads before shipment
  • Maintain high-quality standards, ensuring all products are handled with care
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Collaborate effectively within a team while adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Engage in various duties to support operational efficiency and uphold hygiene standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
  • Forklift Counterbalance/Pallet Truck experience is a plus but not mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate stock picking
  • Good hand-eye coordination for safe operation of mechanical handling equipment
  • Reliability, self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit are essential
  • Comprehensive training will be provided, including Manual Handling and more.
