The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Professionals at Sherburn House, a registered care service in Knaresborough. We provide comprehensive support to adults with profound learning disabilities and complex physical health needs.
About Sherburn House
Sherburn House is a 24-hour residential facility that offers a warm and welcoming environment for our residents. We currently have a diverse group of individuals, ranging in age from 19 to 60, who enjoy a variety of activities and outings within the home and the wider community.
Your Role as a Support Professional
As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personalized care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting residents in participating in meaningful activities and outings.
- Assisting with meal preparation and medication management.
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental health and reporting any concerns to appropriate staff members.
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided.
- Working collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals to create a positive and supportive environment.
