We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our team at Dawsongroup plc. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger system.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately inputting purchase ledger invoices, credit notes, and debit notes into our financial system.
- Processing invoices, scanning and uploading supporting documents, and maintaining a well-organized filing system.
- Preparing and processing payment runs as required, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Approving payments on authorized invoices, credit notes, and debit notes, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Setting up and amending accounts on the Purchase Ledger, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Providing administrative support to the Purchase Ledger and Accounts Team, including filing, sending emails, and performing other tasks as required.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Adaptability, flexibility, and a well-organized approach to work, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Prior experience in a Purchase Ledger role is highly desirable, but not essential.
