Job Title: Senior 1 MRI Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Radiographer to join our team at Bupa. As a Senior 1 MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI services to our patients, working independently and as part of the wider MDT.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in MRI imaging. You will be working with a team of experienced professionals, who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality MRI services to patients, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of the wider MDT, contributing to the development of the department.
  • Develop and maintain staff rotas to ensure appropriate staff coverage on the respective scanner.
  • Supervise the professional standards and operational management of rotating staff and their training in the respective scanner.
  • Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring physicians, in line with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is not breached.
  • Report all incidents.
Requirements
  • BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential).
  • Substantial MRI experience (essential).
  • X-Ray experience.
  • Competence to operate Siemens 1.5 MRI scanner (desirable).
  • Demonstrable experience in cannulation and contrast MRI (essential).
  • Ability to work under pressure and direct and achieve results.
