At Fives, we're passionate about creating sustainable solutions for the world. As a Multi-Skilled Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, service, and repair electro-mechanical high-value 5-axis equipment/machinery at customer sites, adhering to drawings, manufacturer's instructions, and customer specifications.
  • Operate equipment/machinery during installation and commissioning to ensure performance, quality, and rate of running meet specifications.
  • Train customer personnel on maintaining, adjusting, and repairing equipment/machinery.
  • Repair worn or defective equipment/machinery and diagnose setup and process issues.
  • Work on equipment/machinery refurbishments, re-tools, and refits as necessary.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work, as well as fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for promoting additional services and spare part sales.
  • Maintain tools and test equipment in good condition and adhere to lean manufacturing principles and 5S standards.
  • Work to a high standard, ensuring adherence to current FMS Health & Safety standards and promoting a professional and positive image of FMS.
  • Support on-site at Cross Hills as required, working on Fives Landis Ltd. equipment/machinery.
