We are seeking an experienced Insolvency Portfolio Manager to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As a key member of our insolvency team, you will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensuring they are efficiently and proactively progressed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed.
  • Liaise with office-holder and other case staff to ensure all are kept up to date with relevant issues.
  • Ensure junior staff are briefed and motivated to complete cases efficiently.
  • Review junior staff work and comment constructively on their performance.
  • Provide training to junior staff through on-the-job experience.
  • Ensure all work is reviewed and that files and completed to a state suitable for review. This includes reviewing statutory aspects for compliance with insolvency regulations and relevant standards.
  • Attend meetings with clients and a manager and/or office-holder.
  • Identify opportunities where we may be able to offer further services.
  • Assist the office-holder and manager to ensure that client needs are met - where possible, the service-level expectations of our clients should be exceeded.
  • Opportunity to attend marketing events where appropriate.
  • Prepare case reviews and brief office-holders on work carried-out and case issues.
  • Assist managers and office-holders to manage WIP and debtors on a client-by-client basis.
Requirements
  • Experience of corporate insolvencies essential - particularly administrations and liquidations.
  • A good working knowledge of insolvency rules and statutory requirements is required.
  • Quick to learn, ability to adapt to new procedures and situations and operate in a fast-moving environment is advantageous.
  • Must be able to work on several different assignments at one time.
  • Ideally, CPI-qualified.
