Position Overview

The Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee all repair and upkeep tasks within the establishment, ensuring a secure and pleasant atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks assigned by the Engineering Supervisor.
  • Fulfill shifts according to the established monthly schedule.
  • Support the Rooms Engineer and Plant Room Engineer as required.
  • Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in guest rooms, conference areas, and all communal spaces.
  • Monitor the functionality of all equipment in the boiler house, basement plant room, roof plant room, and other technical areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
  • Stay informed about any scheduled maintenance by contractors, assess the quality of their work, and approve necessary documentation.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of essential supplies such as light bulbs, electrical components, plumbing fixtures, and other maintenance materials.
  • Identify significant issues that could disrupt hotel operations and recommend necessary replacements for inclusion in the capital expenditure budget.
