Job Description

Job Title: Support Worker - Brain Injury Specialist

Job Type: Part-time

Hours: 2 days per week, 5 hours per day

Shift Times: Flexible between 9am/10am-2pm/3pm

Hourly Rate: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at NeuroSupport Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Support individuals with their medication management and health needs
  • Accompany individuals on outings and activities, such as shopping, meal planning, and community access
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to implement behavioral, psychological, and cognitive strategies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a support worker role or similar
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own car
  • Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
