The Estimator vacancy is an exciting opportunity to join a leading designer and manufacturer of products utilised within the construction sector. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for responding to product enquiries from a wide range of housing developers and general customer enquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Service product enquiries originating from customers and external sales.
- Understand and define key product requirements from customer enquiries.
- Offer product knowledge and guidance to provide customer support.
- Provide estimating service to facilitate customer quotation requirements.
- Liaise with CAD team members for drawing and design services.
- Convert project design and in-house detailing for customer and factory needs.
- Capacity to interpret by estimation techniques to provide quotations.
- Previous experience of providing estimates to customers of a technical nature.
- Strong Excel and computer skills.
- The ability to interpret basic CAD drawings would be advantageous but not essential.
- A knowledge of construction and construction processes would be advantageous but not essential.
