BeBee Professionals: Seeking a Meticulous Quantity Surveyor

We are a dynamic construction company based in Dewsbury, seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs for construction projects and prepare detailed quantity requirements.
  • Financial Management: Monitor construction budgets and track expenses to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to secure the best pricing for our projects.
  • Project Cost Review: Review and update project costs as construction work progresses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of cost estimation software and project management principles.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, suppliers, and project teams.
