Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our data centre team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance on building services equipment, as well as reactive and emergency breakdown tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure the optimal performance of building services equipment
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and carrying out repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conducting inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to identify and resolve issues
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels and company policies
  • Maintaining accurate records and log books, including F-gas records
  • Performing general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize the life expectancy of equipment
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and recommending improvements
  • Working closely with the Dalkia UK team and customers to provide excellent service and support
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to all health, safety, and compliance policies

Requirements

  • F-Gas Category 1 certification
  • City & Guilds level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering
  • Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Experience working with downflow units, CRAC units, and split units
