Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled AC and Refrigeration Engineer to join our team at Dalkia UK. As a key member of our data centre team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our building services equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of building services equipment.
  • Responding to reactive and emergency breakdown tasks in a timely and effective manner.
  • Conducting inspections, fault finding, and diagnosis to identify and resolve issues.
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with agreed service levels and company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate records and log books, including F-gas records.
  • Performing general cleaning and housekeeping to maximize the life expectancy of equipment.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce energy consumption and recommending improvements.
  • Working in accordance with health, safety, compliance, and local policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Maintaining correct stock levels.

Requirements

  • F-Gas Cat 1 certification.
  • City & Guilds level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering.
  • Commercial building maintenance experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Experience in downflow units, CRAC units, and split units.
