About the Role

The Knares Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated Receptionist for Healthcare Services to join our team on a part-time basis, contributing 15 hours per week. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive the appropriate services and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Welcome and guide all patients upon arrival.
  • Schedule appointments and distribute appointment cards as necessary.
  • Process prescriptions, letters, completed forms, and specimen bottles.
  • Address information requests and manage any issues or complaints.
  • Inform patients about practice procedures.
  • Register new patients efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
About the Candidate

  • Outstanding communication skills with a courteous telephone manner.

  • Proficient IT and administrative skills.

The Knares Medical Practice is part of the West Basildon Primary Care Network (PCN), committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Our practice offers a variety of services, including chronic disease management, antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgical procedures, childhood vaccinations, and wellness check-ups.
