Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our echocardiography department, you will be responsible for performing transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) on outpatients and inpatients, as well as participating in aspects of service management.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Perform TTE unassisted on outpatients and inpatients
- Triage effectively and support the development of GP pathways
- Participate in aspects of service management, including quality assurance, service planning, workforce planning, appraisal, and student supervision

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have:
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent formal specialist training
- BSE TTE adult accreditation (holds or has previously held with CPD)
- Appropriate post-qualification experience and familiarity with the range of basic and advanced Cardiac and Respiratory investigations
