CAD Design Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CAD Design Engineer to join our team at Reed Engineering. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating design drawings for manufacturing, working with project managers to establish the best design, and ensuring the accuracy of information received.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Collaborating with project managers to develop design solutions
  • Discussing design drawings with manufacturing teams and ensuring amendments are carried out and recorded

The Person:
  • Proficient AutoCAD and SolidWorks skills
  • Ability to develop engineering designs and progress them to the shop floor
  • Excellent numerical skills and solid interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in technical and colloquial English
