About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heating Services Manager to join our team at The Engineer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our gas compliance, service, repair, and maintenance contracts.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our residents receive reliable, effective, and affordable heating systems, while also ensuring full compliance with statutory requirements and legislation. This will involve acting as the lead officer for the housing service in the take-up, development, installation, and maintenance of new energy sources, as well as managing all aspects of the gas service, maintenance, and repairs contracts under your control.

You will also be responsible for reviewing and drafting domestic and commercial heating and hot water asset maintenance/repair and installation specifications, as well as developing and delivering the heating replacement program incorporating 'affordable warmth' and carbon reduction targets.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Category 1 Engineer with Domestic and Commercial Natural Gas ACS Qualifications, with experience in managing construction-based contracts and contractors, including budgetary control. You will also need to have experience in managing domestic and commercial heating installations, renewable heating and hot water technologies, and dealing with customers and complaints, including compensation claims.
