Key Responsibilities

  • Press Office Function: Oversee the press office, responding to media inquiries and acting as a senior advisor on incidents.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, commercial, product, and customer services teams to deliver key business priorities.
  • PR Objectives and Plans: Develop and deliver strategic PR objectives and plans to maintain a high profile and protect the brand's reputation.
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media contacts to secure regular coverage.
  • Agency Management: Oversee the PR agency and press monitoring provider, ensuring they understand company priorities and deliver high-quality work.
  • Corporate Social Media: Develop a corporate social media strategy to drive awareness and impact.
  • Measurement and Evaluation: Develop meaningful measurement across all areas of responsibility and ensure awareness across the business.
Requirements
  • Strong Stakeholder Management: Experience managing senior leaders, external partners, and media.
  • PR and Communications Experience: Proven experience working in PR and communications, preferably in an in-house setting.
  • Agency Management: Experience managing and guiding a PR agency.
  • Campaign Planning and Management: Experience planning and managing multiple PR campaigns simultaneously.
  • Financial Communications: Experience with financial communications is desirable.
  • Copywriting and Grammar: Strong copywriting and grammar skills.
  • Project Management: Highly organized and comfortable managing several projects simultaneously.
  • Social Media: Solid knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Communications Measurement Tools: Experience with communications measurement tools.
  • Telecoms Experience: Telecoms experience is desirable.
