About the Role

As an End-User Computing Specialist at Fenwick, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of end-user computing devices and point-of-sale systems utilized across our retail environment. This position involves delivering technical assistance for both hardware and software challenges, overseeing the management and upkeep of Windows and macOS operating systems, and addressing end-user computing and POS equipment issues reported through various channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot end-user computing and POS equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with IT team members on deployment projects for devices such as laptops, desktops, phones, and tills.
  • Ensure the productivity and efficiency of staff by delivering reliable support for their computing needs.

Candidate Profile

We seek a dedicated IT professional with exceptional communication and customer service skills, along with strong prioritization and time management abilities. The relationships you cultivate within Fenwick will be instrumental to your success in this role, as you will engage with a diverse range of colleagues. The ability to prioritize and maintain a customer-first approach will be crucial.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Office 365, Windows 10, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and printer management.
  • Experience in hardware or network engineering is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with macOS, InTune, and SCCM.
  • Desirable skills include Wi-Fi network troubleshooting.
  • Theoretical knowledge of point-of-sale systems and antivirus software.
