Job Title: Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner

Hourglass Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in Chorley. As a key member of our Rapid Assessment Intensive Support Team (RAIST), you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessments and support to children and young people aged 0-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments of children and young people, identifying enhanced risk factors and developing effective care plans.
  • Provide intensive support to service users over a 2-week period, working closely with families and other professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Support and guide junior staff members, promoting a high standard of care and contributing to the team's overall success.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for service users.
Position Details:
  • Location: Chorley, Central Lancashire
  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (Flexible hours: 12-hour shifts or 9-5)
  • Umbrella Rate: £35.67 per hour
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
Requirements:
  • Qualified Nurse, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with mental health experience
  • Proven experience working with children and young people in mental health settings
