Lead the Way in Digital Preservation

We are seeking a highly skilled Content and Collections Manager to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our digital collections and metadata strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Agreements and Negotiations team to deliver selection, acquisition, and licensing services for our digital collections.
  • Collaborate with the Collection Acquisition and Activation team to ensure seamless collection management and activation processes.
  • Work closely with the Metadata team to develop and implement metadata strategies that support our digital collections.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with our digital preservation goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in digital preservation and metadata management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content and collections management, with a focus on digital preservation.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Knowledge of metadata standards and best practices, with experience in developing and implementing metadata strategies.
