About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Facilities Assistant to join our team at Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School. As a key member of our Estates Team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and safety of our academy premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Estates Manager in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the academy premises.
  • Perform general maintenance duties, including minor repairs and refurbishment works.
  • Provide porterage services and support the wider Estates Team as needed.
  • Contribute to the overall health and safety and security of the academy.
Requirements

We are looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking individual who is physically fit and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally, you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills, and an understanding of safeguarding.
