Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled nursing professionals to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care to our neonatal patients. Our organization prides itself on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering numerous opportunities for professional growth.
As a part of our advanced Neonatal Unit, we operate a comprehensive level 3 facility equipped with 7 intensive care, 10 high dependency/special care, and 16 transitional care cots, catering to the needs of our community. We anticipate further expansion in alignment with national service specifications.
Our highly qualified nursing staff, alongside our Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (ANNPs), specialized medical personnel, and support teams, work together to deliver specialized care in partnership with families. Additionally, our Neonatal Transport Service provides a 24-hour retrieval service, enhancing the clinical skills of our staff.

Key Responsibilities
As a Neonatal Care Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Contributing to the development of the Network NICU services.
- Engaging in research and evidence-based practice to enhance neonatal care.
- Assisting in the management of resources to support neonatal services.
- Participating in Clinical Governance initiatives to uphold care standards.

Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Demonstrated clinical and practical nursing skills.
- Awareness of research and evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
- NMC Registration.
Desirable:
- Recent experience in neonatal intensive care.
- Degree in Nursing or recognized qualification in specialty.
Aptitude and Abilities
Essential:
- Understanding of customer care principles in clinical environments.
- Competence in numeracy and literacy.
Desirable:
- Involvement in research and audit projects.
