**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and compelling leader to join our senior management team as the Director of Fundraising. This key leadership role is at the core of our successful and ambitious directorate, responsible for driving our fundraising and development strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve income growth and meet organizational goals.
  • Lead a team of talented and ambitious fundraisers to success, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to excel.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporate partners, national bodies, and other key stakeholders to drive fundraising efforts.
  • Work closely with the CEO and fellow members of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment and effective communication across the organization.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial plans, and reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with delivery colleagues and programme leads to ensure effective implementation of fundraising strategies.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and successful fundraising leader who can demonstrate a track record of building and delivering fundraising strategies. You will need to have:

Exceptional communication skills across all audiences, including working at board level.An excellent understanding of financial planning and reporting.A natural leadership style that can engage, motivate, and inspire a team.A deep understanding of fundraising campaigns and strategies.Experience working with corporate partners, national bodies, and other key stakeholders.
