About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, working on a bank contract. As a Chef, you will be responsible for providing high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to centralized standards of preparation, production, and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce meals for patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Plan patients' diets, utilizing stock effectively and maintaining strong knowledge of allergens.
- Ensure quality assurance and patient confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Comply with Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling.
Requirements
- Previous Chef/Cookery experience is essential.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate/qualifications are required.
- Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
