AV Event Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced AV Event Production Manager to join our team at GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for planning and executing live, hybrid, and virtual events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build productions, utilizing your technical expertise to create engaging and immersive experiences.
  • Supervise contractors and freelancers on-site during rigs, derigs, and events, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Manage client enquiries, interpreting briefs and communicating key requirements to ensure accurate expectations.
  • Attend site visits to assess venues and plan logistics, including kit list management and crew booking.
  • Collaborate with production managers to deliver high-quality projects, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
  • Test equipment prior to events, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing technical issues.
  • Deliver, set-up, and de-rig AV equipment, performing basic maintenance and servicing as needed.
  • Check and load/unload equipment, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Proven understanding of AV, including sound, lighting, video, projection, and IT, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant hands-on experience working on-site at live and virtual events, with a strong understanding of different event formats.
  • Full UK driving license, essential for site visits and equipment transportation.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively.
  • Natural problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on operational and financial efficiencies.
  • Strong understanding of CAD/drawing software programs and experience with Current RMS would be beneficial.
