About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to join our team in Manchester, UK. As a key member of our RCOE Data team, you will play a leading part in the Reconciliation Transformation strategy across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with various stakeholders to influence decisions with data and enable leaders to make key business decisions in a timely manner.
  • Work as part of a team to support line of business areas with advanced statistical and quantitative analysis, including running models, identifying exceptions, and taking corrective actions.
  • Use technology tools to conduct analysis, applying techniques such as SQL querying and macro development to extract data for populating models.
  • Gain a good understanding of relevant processes and products in assigned areas and apply this knowledge to decide the most appropriate analysis, methodologies, and approaches to support the assessment of performance and risk profile of break population.
  • Interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports, as well as ad-hoc reports at the request of managers and/or other leaders.
  • Translate complex technical concepts and analyses to non-technical audiences.
  • Provide analytical support and prepare drafts of standard and ad-hoc reports for various areas and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in quantitative analysis preferred.
  • Years of total work experience preferred.
  • Previous work experience in Data Analytics environment is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Direct experience with SQL.
  • Familiarity with Tableau or other data visualization tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, VBA).
  • Experience of using Power BI.
  • Team player, proven track record in building effective relationships across global locations.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to extract and analyze data.
  • Good attention to detail and a result-driven approach.
  • Organized and able to manage workload efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure accurate output under tight timescales.
  • Experience with Machine Learning or Robotics tools (preferred).
