About the Role:
Options Resourcing is a recruitment partner of a successful Building Engineering Services company based in the South-West region of Hampshire. We are currently seeking an experienced MEP BIM Coordinator or Manager to join our established team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CAD/Revit department and oversee the production of M&E drawings to the latest standards and systems.
- Consult and liaise with main contractors and consultants during the drafting process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings.
- Ensure the coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and building services to suit the building structure, working closely with the design team to ensure designs are fully coordinated.
- Identify and implement value engineering opportunities to improve project financial status.
- Develop design skills and knowledge, including CAD/REVIT software packages.
Requirements:
- Expertise in Revit MEP is essential, with experience of CAD and other 3D design packages beneficial.
- Experience designing and coordinating Revit models for HVAC systems across various projects.
- Ability to ensure coordination of MEP services to suit the given project.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Revit/BIM Technician with a background in M&E Building Services or HVAC. You will be working closely with a down-to-earth and strategic manager who requires a hardworking and straight-talking candidate to join this dynamic team.
What We Offer:
This role offers flexibility for hybrid working following completion of probation. The salary bracket varies dependent on experience, and we are open to Senior Engineers moving into a management role.
