Job Summary

The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Continuous Improvement team as an Associate, Business Process Improvements/Best Practice. This role will be responsible for driving process improvements and automation initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements and automation solutions using robotics programming and other technologies.
  • Manage and deliver automated processes from initial investigation to development and testing.
  • Prepare and analyze data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Assist in the development of complex spreadsheets and reports, and provide coaching to less experienced team members on Excel functions and formulas.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings to a professional standard.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills and a willingness to learn robotics coding languages.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, including the use of Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or other similar software.
  • Proven project management and administrative experience, with the ability to run projects and responsibilities independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to peers and managers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
