Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Rivers Primary Academy is seeking to appoint two experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to provide support for pupils with special educational needs.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Lead to implement targets for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans. The role involves providing specific activities to assist pupils' individual learning and social needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for pupils with special educational needs
  • Work closely with the class teacher and Inclusion Lead to implement targets

  • Assist pupils in integrating into class activities
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Friendly and a team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Good ICT skills
  • Well motivated and enthusiastic
  • Excellent Behaviour Management
  • Level 3 or equivalent in a related area
