Job Summary

The Global Health and Safety Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) across the Travelex business. This role will develop, communicate, and maintain OSH policy, arrangements, and associated procedures/best practice in line with country legislation globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement OSH policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Conduct risk assessments, investigations, and provide recommendations to the Group Risk Director
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting, e.g. RIDDOR
  • Monitor and evaluate new or changing H&S legislation and its potential impact on the business
  • Provide coaching and SME support to front-line teams and other business support functions
  • Produce accurate, timely, and relevant H&S risk MI for Group Risk Director, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Travelex Risk Committees, and Travelex Country boards

Requirements

  • Professionally qualified, e.g. NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Demonstrable experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of H&S policy and framework across a multi-faceted business
  • Commercial acumen able to balance risks with a business perspective

Working Environment

The role will work closely with Operations colleagues, business staff, and management globally, as well as HR and C&R teams in country. The successful candidate will be able to maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and privacy policies and guidelines.
