The RoleWe are seeking a flexible Bank/Casual Support Worker to join our team within a supported living service in the Charing Cross area. This role involves supporting three gentlemen with mild learning disabilities and autism, who enjoy being active, cycling, gardening, walking, art, and dancing.
As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users. You will be responsible for providing person-centered support, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in activities that bring joy and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and assistance to service users with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Encourage and support service users to participate in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes the dignity and respect of all service users.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
