This is a full-time and permanent position.
PDA Search & Selection is collaborating with a prominent and expanding national facilities management organization that holds a long-term facilities contract with a leading retail supermarket chain.
We are currently seeking to onboard a new Technical Bureau Operator to enhance the Technical Bureau team.This role is available for immediate commencement and is designed to be full-time and permanent. Comprehensive training will be provided.
The position entails working 5 hours weekly, with shifts scheduled over 5 days out of 7, including some weekend hours.
The shifts will typically start at 7:00 PM, alternating between early and late shifts on a weekly basis. Please ensure you are comfortable with both shift patterns before applying.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct investigations on manually raised tasks through remote diagnostics of the BEMS systems and resolve issues where feasible.
- Adhere to call protocols and accurately document relevant information in line with established guidelines.
- Provide technical assistance to field engineering teams and fulfill all necessary administrative responsibilities.
- Manage refrigeration alerts with a strong emphasis on response times and service quality.
- Address store-logged tasks through remote diagnostics/adjustments of the BEMS systems to minimize the need for engineer visits.
- Utilize in-house software systems to ensure all issues are recorded, updated, and resolved efficiently.
- Respond promptly and professionally to support requests from Field Operations teams via telephone or email.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a high level of equipment connectivity through the City network infrastructure.
- Inform store personnel of any repair or maintenance concerns that may impact their operations.
- Represent the organization professionally at all times and foster positive working relationships with engineers, subcontractors, and client colleagues.
- Participate in training sessions as necessary to ensure personal skills remain aligned with technical advancements.
- Adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy consistently.
- Work alongside City and Client colleagues to uphold established quality standards.
Our client values diverse backgrounds, and all necessary training will be provided. The primary qualifications sought are strong IT literacy (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
