Job Title: Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner

The Emergency Department at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic and challenging environment that requires a highly skilled and responsive team. We are seeking an Advanced Clinical Research Practitioner to join our urgent care team, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients in the emergency department
  • Work autonomously to deliver high-quality patient care, using specialist knowledge and skills to make clinical decisions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and safety
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of education and training programs for healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Registered with a relevant professional body or allied health professional governing body
  • MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent
  • Life Support qualification (Trauma / ALS)
  • Relevant teaching qualification or evidenced experience
  • Independent non-medical prescribing
  • Significant experience of working as an ACP within acute / emergency care
Desirable:
  • Significant ACP experience of working within emergency Department
  • ALS Qualification / Teaching
