Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - Sport and PE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our PE department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of physical education lessons and providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of physical education lessons under the direction of the PE teacher
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment for all students
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of physical education lessons
  • Monitor and record student progress and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members

Requirements:

  • Good standard of education - English and Maths minimum GCSE grade C
  • Previous experience of sports coaching or work with young people (advantageous)
  • Ability to work under the direction of the PE teacher and demonstrate initiative
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • First aid training (may be required)
