Job Summary:

Fujitsu Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our team. As a 3rd Line Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 3rd line support for hardware, software, and network issues, diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems efficiently.
  • Manage and maintain virtualized and physical estate, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Utilize monitoring tools to analyze system performance and identify potential issues proactively.
  • Respond to alerts and take corrective actions to ensure system stability.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard infrastructure components.
  • Implement automation tools and scripts for repetitive tasks, ensuring efficiency and reducing manual errors.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to 1st and 2nd line functions.
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, patches, and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Manage and resolve incidents within established SLAs.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to address critical issues outside regular business hours.
  • Test and improve disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
  • Identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements and implement best practices.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Experience in 3rd line support with a mix of the following skills: Windows Server administration, Linux Server administration, VMware Suite Administration, Active Directory and Group Policy management, networking technologies, storage systems technology, scripting and automation.
  • Desirable experience in PKI management, Microsoft System Center suite management, backup solution management, patching toolsets, Tenable SC/Nessus, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, LiveNX, database management, and thin client solutions.
