Position Overview: We are currently in search of a skilled Highways Surfacing Project Manager to lead various road construction initiatives across the Midlands and North Midlands.
This role is a temporary contract, requiring immediate engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage surfacing operations on roadways, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards and project timelines.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, offering guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform site evaluations to verify compliance with safety regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Engage in effective communication with clients, contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Track project advancement and proactively resolve any arising challenges.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities and results.
Qualifications:
- Valid CSCS certification.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in surfacing, particularly within council projects and road construction.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Availability to commit to the contract duration.
