Job Summary
The Global System Proposal Engineer will provide sales and technical support for global projects, focusing on fire and gas detection systems worldwide. This role is responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals, designing systems to meet customer requirements, and supporting the sales team throughout the proposals process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze Request for Quotation (RFQ) and enquiry documentation to ensure accurate and complete proposals.
- Develop and prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals that meet customer requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless proposal development and delivery.
- Provide technical support to Account Managers and customers, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop and implement processes for effective proposal development and management.
- Utilize Salesforce for proposal activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Provide pre-sales support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical certification.
- Minimum of two years' experience in similar roles, preferably in the fire and gas detection systems industry.
- Experience with global EPC bidding processes and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize work and use initiative to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- Experience with Autronica and Det-Tronics products, with a strong understanding of their features and applications.
