About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our in-house legal team at North Northamptonshire Council. As a Childcare Lawyer, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance on childcare-related matters to clients, colleagues, and elected members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general and specialist childcare advice on behalf of the Council.
  • Manage a caseload of child protection cases, including attendance at court and tribunals, and undertaking advocacy where required.
  • Advising on policy, strategy, and procedures relating to childcare issues.
About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Lawyer who has a strong background in childcare law. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
