Job Title: Financial Accountant - Group Reporting
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team as a Group Financial Accountant. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the production of statutory and non-statutory financial reporting deliverables for inclusion in external and internal publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Statutory Audit: Coordinate and day-to-day involvement in the statutory audit, working closely with external auditors to devise an effective and efficient audit approach across the group.
- Group and Subsidiary Financial Statements: End-to-end production of Group and Subsidiary financial statements, including preparation of period 13 adjustments to management accounts, formalising additional statutory disclosure notes, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Quarterly Reporting: Preparation of condensed consolidated interim financial statements at quarter ends, facilitating external auditor's interim reviews, and providing analytical review commentary and review of divisional commentary submissions.
- Non-Statutory Reporting: Providing insight and input into the Group's continuous evolutionary improvement of systems, controls, and governance, involvement in the annual budgeting process, monthly Board reporting, and ad-hoc finance-related projects.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a 2-3 years post-qualified individual, either as a first move from practice or as a first move into the automotive industry. We are looking for a qualified chartered accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA) with good technical knowledge and experience of statutory accounts preparation and consolidation.
