Employment Support Specialist

As an Employment Advisor at Maximus UK, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing personalized support to customers, empowering them to secure and sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of customers, using coaching strategies to prepare them for interviews and job searching.
- Conduct in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances, preferences, and barriers to progression.
- Co-produce tailored action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with local specialist services to address specific issues, such as substance misuse, anger management, or debt advice.
- Identify recruitment needs and undertake pre-screens and group assessments with employers.
- Develop effective in-work support plans with participants and employers.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure excellent customer service.
- Comply with company policies, including data security, safeguarding, and health & safety.
- Customer-focused approach with a strong commitment to customer care.
- Strong team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
- Fully IT literate in using Microsoft Office and modern digital technologies.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and organize workload to meet targets and deadlines.
- Prior experience in the Welfare to Work sector.
- Knowledge of the employability industry.
- Previous experience in a Recruitment Background.
