Fulcrum Engineering is seeking skilled Metal Fabrication Specialists to join our team. As a vital part of our operations, you will be involved in various aspects of steel work, including:
- Drilling and securing anchor bolts to structural frames and posts.
- Fabricating and installing staircases, balconies, and handrails.
Your primary duties will include:
- Leading a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Fabricating structural and architectural steel components from technical drawings.
- Welding using MIG techniques, with MMA as needed, to meet coded specifications.
The standard working hours are from 07:30 to 16:00, with opportunities for overtime during weekdays and weekends as required.
CompensationCompetitive rates starting at £50 per hour for weekdays, with additional rates of £18 to £20 per hour for weekend work, depending on experience. Semi-skilled positions start from £13 to £14 per hour.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- CSCS Card or ECITB Safety Passport.
- Ideally, an IPAF Mobile Platform Card.
- Certifications in Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces, and Fire Watching are advantageous.
